Product: DC12V Four-Way Valve Independent Control Solenoid Valve SKU: ACS26722G
Question:

Hi, I bought the DC12V Four-Way Valve Independent Control Solenoid Valve https://www.elecrow.com/dc12v-four-way-valve-independent-control-solenoid-valve.html  How do you determine which is positive and which is negative wire?

Answer:

"There is no positive or negative polarity — as long as current flows through, a magnetic field will be generated to control the switch. Therefore, it's not necessary to distinguish between positive and negative terminals."

Question:

How To Powering the CrowPi2 using a Power Bank?

Answer:

Just sharing my DIY experience on using a Portable Power Bank to power my CrowPi2.

Materials used:

· XPower M5H 5000mAh MagSafe Portable Power Bank (Dimensions: 105 x 66 x 8 mm)

· MagSafe metallic ring with 3M adhesive backing

· USB Type C to MicroUSB charging cable

Installation:

1. Set the XPower M5H Power Bank on the table with the MagSafe charging surface facing up.

2. Magnetically align the MagSafe metallic ring onto the XPower MagSafe Power Bank with the 3M adhesive protective backing label facing up.

3. Remove the 3M adhesive protective backing.

4. Remove the Storage Tray from the CrowPi2.

5. Position the Power Bank, with the Magsafe metallic ring still attached, all the way toward the rear of the Storage Tray.

6. Firmly press down on the power bank for a few seconds to allow the MagSafe metallic ring to adhere to the Storage Tray.

7. Pull up on the Power Bank to remove it, you should see the MagSafe metallic ring remains attached on the Storage Tray by the adhesive.

8. Place the Power Bank back down over the MagSafe metallic ring and the Power Bank snaps into place magnetically.

9. Remove the Rubber Cap that covers the cable hole at front of the Storage Tray.

10. Route the USB Type C end of the charging cable through the cable hole and plug into the USB Type C port on the Power Bank.

Note: The LED indicators on the Power Bank will turn on automatically, which is the auto power on feature of the XPower M5H Power Bank.

11. Slide the Storage Tray back into the CrowPi2.

12. Plug the MicroUSB end of the charge cable into the MicroUSB port located on the right rear of the CrowPi2.

Operations:

1. Slide open the Storage Tray to check whether the LED indicators on the Power Bank are lit. If not, press the Power button to turn it on.

2. Turn on the CrowPi2 by pressing the Power button located on the right rear.

Caution: You should NEVER connect both the DC 12V and the USB power to the CrowPi2 at the same time.

Recharge the Power Bank:

Recharge the Power Bank is as simple as you would recharging a mobile phone. It must be recharged externally with a suitable USB charger depending on the Power Bank model, consult the operation guide that came with the power bank.

1. Slide open the Storage Tray.

2. Detach the Power Bank, it is held in place magnetically, from the Storage Tray.

3. Unplug the USB cable from the Power Bank.

4. Recharge the Power Bank with a suitable USB charger.

Product: RC050S HD 5 Inch 800x480 Capacitive Touch Monitor Built-in Speaker with Backlight Control SKU: DIS00005R
Question:

The monitor has 2 Micro USB interfaces one for the touch interface and power supply, the other for power supply. Does the RPI supplies enough power to power the monitor via the USB touch interface? What is the use of the second USB connector is the monitor is powered by the USB touch interface?

Answer:

if you are using the USB adapter we provided to connect the Raspberry Pi 5 to the monitor, a single USB connection (for power and touch) is sufficient to supply the necessary current for the monitor to function properly.

However, if you're using a USB cable instead of our adapter, factors such as cable length or quality may cause insufficient power delivery. In that case, you’ll need to additionally power the dedicated charging port on the monitor.

The power-only port requires a 5V input voltage and a current of at least 1A.
